Eli Roth is a director, writer, and producer who has made a name for himself making gory horror movies. Getting his big break with Cabin Fever, he went on to make Hostel and its sequel, which revolutionized the gore genre. He was a guest director for Grindhouse for the fake trailer for Thanksgiving, which he is now signed on to make for real. I’m pretty sure all of those Grindhouse trailers will eventually come to life. And he can be seen acting in a number of films, but no roles are quite as entertaining as his role in Inglourious Basterds.
