Tim Curry is a great actor. He is dignified, funny, enthusiastic, and entertaining. But no matter what he is appearing in, whether it is Annie, Clue, The Hunt for Red October, Charlie’s Angels, or “Monk”, nothing will ever outshine his performance in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The only other performance that even comes close would probably be in Stephen King’s It. But even with his great interpretation of Pennywise the clown, he will forever be a Sweet Transvestite.
