An extended teaser for Tron: Destiny, the supposed third film in the Tron franchise, has appeared online and many people, myself included, doubt its legitimacy. While it’s well made and has pretty snappy special effects, the absence of most of the already established Tron characters and the quality of some of the chromakeying during the lightcycle riding sequence lead me to believe that this is the works of fans and not Disney, as the trailer would have you think. But then who is responsible? It’s a pretty awesome little short, and I’m a bit surprised that nobody seems to be clamoring to take credit for it. Well done, whoever you are! Let’s hope the real third Tron instalment is as cool as this.
