I’ve been a magician for about a decade now, so of course this trailer for the documentary Make Believe, about a group of teens competing for the title of World’s Greatest Teen Magician, interests me. It may look to some like a magic-centric version of America’s Got Talent, but I can’t help but see myself in a few of these young prestidigitators. You can bet I’ll be first in line when this hits theatres.
Make Believe is set to play at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 17, 2011. No word yet as to when it will be available to mainstream audiences.
