I have no idea where Night of the Little Dead came from, but suddenly there’s a trailer online and Penn Jillette (of Penn and Teller) and Adam Savage (of Mythbusters) are in it! From the look of things, the plot revolves around a group of people holed up in a backwoods bar as small creatures close in. I can’t be sure whether the tiny terrors are zombie dwarfs or trolls or some other form of supernatural beasties from the brief glimpse we get, but I can definitely tell you that I will be watching this at some point. I don’t even care if it’s total crap – which is a very real possibility. It has Penn and Adam Savage in it, and I am therefore obligated to watch.
Night of the Little Dead was apparently released in the US on March 15, 2011. No word yet as to when it will appear in Canada…or in what form.
