Since Disney owns both the Muppet franchise and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise – both of which have films coming out this year – it’s only appropriate that the Mouse Empire get in a little cross promotion at the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Kermit interviews Johnny Depp, and even has an exchange with Keith Richards! I can’t wait for either of these movies. Well played, Disney. Well played.
