Ladies and gentlemen, please do not panic! But SCREAM! Scream for your lives!

Since it’sVincent Price’s birthday, I thought I might post one of my favourite films of his that just happens to be available in its entirety on Youtube! That film is The Tingler, one of the great William Castle audience-interactive horror films, presented in Percepto! – which meant that certain theatre seats were equipped with vibrating devices to create a tingling sensation at the base of the spine. The film is the story of a crazed scientist who discovers a parasite in humans that feeds on fear, but dies if you scream. It’s a load of silly awesomeness, and some of Price’s best work, in my opinion. Be sure to watch for the weird sequence where blood appears in colour!

The rest of The Tingler can be viewed under the cut!
