I recently featured the awesome short film The Gamers by Dead Gentlemen Productions – a movie that I feel genuinely captures the experience of playing Dungeons and Dragons. Fortunately for us Gamers fans, Dead Gentlemen Productions also made a quasi-sequel called The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, and while I think The Gamers is funnier, Dorkness Rising is definitely the superior film. It’s really well-made, and still contains all that hilarious, enthusiastic, nerdy humour that we saw in its predecessor. Unfortunately, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising can’t be seen in its entirety on Youtube, but you can get a great sample of it, as the first quarter of the film is viewable!
