In all the hullabulloo over the awesome new Game of Thrones television series on HBO (which really is awesome in the truest sense of the word), I completely missed out on the fact that there’s been a Game of Thrones video game in the works for a while now! The game is set 1000 years before the events of the books and the TV series, and look! It has a dragon! Sadly, I’m not overly impressed with the graphics in this teaser, and they don’t really give you any sense of what kind of game this is going to be. But still, it’s pretty interesting to see a property with so much political intrigue being turned into a video game. Something tells me the political side of things will be dropped in favour of some smashy-slashy action, though.
A Game of Thrones: Genesis will be available to buy on September 9, 2011, and is apparently only going to be for PC.
