The World’s Enemy

In all honesty, I’ve never been a big Final Fantasy fan. The games never quite held my attention (except for 3/6 – the one with Mog) and the movies, while featuring state-of-the-art computer animation for the time, were pretty dull. But that may be why I enjoy this awesome 8-minute stop-motion animated short so much, because even though it’s apparently full of poorly represented spells and other nerdy inconsistencies (Sephiroth is left handed?), I don’t really care because I’m not invested in the source material. All I know is that this is really cool and really well-made. And that’s all I need. Props to John Huang for making this!
