Photographer Joe Ayala and friend Larry Chen found themselves stuck at an airport overnight when their connecting flight was canceled. Making the most of the situation, the guys seized all the opportunities for fun in the empty terminal, engaging in wheelchair races, making PA announcements and drinking beer. All in all it seems like a pretty fun time, but DFW airport board member Betty Culbreath disagrees, saying:
“It’s not funny. It’s not going to happen again as far as I’m concerned. It should not have happened because it gives the perception the airport is sitting out there unguarded and that’s why I was concerned, and am still concerned.”
Damn, that’s too bad. It almost looked fun to fly again for a moment there.
