Betty Ford: The Musical

Former First Lady Betty Ford, co-founder of the Betty Ford Center for addiction in California, passed away last night at the age of 93. Since I’m a Canadian and I’m not a junkie, I’m afraid that I don’t feel qualified to write a full tribute on the late Mrs. Ford, but I would be remiss if I didn’t at least post this terrific musical number from Betty Ford: The Musical, featured in the first episode of season 9 of The Simpsons. Fun fact: the episode that this clip is from no longer airs because the plot involves the World Trade Center.
