In the late 1990s, Dane Cook was starting to make a name for himself as an up-and-coming stand-up comedian and he caught a major break when he was offered second billing in an action-comedy film. The bad news: it was second billing to Dennis Rodman! After being sidekick to Jean-Claude Van Damme and “Frying the Coke” in Double Team, somebody thought that Mr. Rodman should be elevated to leading man status and Dane Cook got the honour of being his sidekick. The end result was Simon Sez, a film which frequently maintains its spot on the IMDb’s “Bottom 100” list, and after watching these clips, it won’t be hard to understand why.
