The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn has quickly shot to the top of my list of my most anticipated movies of 2011, which should be no surprise considering the tremendous amount of talent involved! As far as the acting goes, we’ve got Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Cary Elwes, and then on the production side we’ve got Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish (director of Attack the Block)! Not to mention the terrific source material. I used to be a huge Tintin fan when I was a kid, and this preview has inspired me to re-read some of my old comics in anticipation for the movie. I’m really glad they’re going for a cartoony sort of visual style with this rather than attempting to be photo-realistic like in movies such as Beowulf and The Polar Express. This is gonna be so much fun!
