Before They Were Stars: Karl Urban on “Xena: Warrior Princess”

Since Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess were filmed in New Zealand, both shows took a shine to a local unknown actor named Karl Urban and wound up casting him in multiple roles on both shows, playing a wide variety of characters such as Cupid and Caesar, who would eventually become Xena’s love interest. The preceding clip is very brief, but I selected it because the line he says is so unintentionally hilarious. As a bonus, here’s an amusing clip of a Karl Urban outtake from the show.
