Two Amusing Harry Potter Videos

One thing that’s always bugged me about the Harry Potter franchise was that the series started taking itself way too seriously around the fourth book. I’ve always felt that as each book became longer, more of the whimsical humour got taken out of it – and that’s especially true of the movies. How I wish someone had injected the kind of energetic spirit that this recut trailer for a teen comedy version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince sports into the actual movie…which, personally, I found pretty dull. At least Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 had this gratuitously homoerotic hug between Voldemort and Draco Malfoy.
