Since I posted a column featuring lot of classic grindhouse trailers yesterday, I thought it only appropriate to do a “Before They Were Stars” feature on someone who had to start out in a grindhouse flick. In 1980, a young David Caruso appeared in a schlocky sci-fi/horror film about killer alien called Without Warning, alongside such legendary B-movie actors as Jack Palance, Martin Landau, Cameron Mitchell and Neville Brand. If this were CSI Miami, I think this is how Caruso would summarize his role in this film:
“Who wears short shorts?” *puts on sunglasses* “I wear short shorts!”
