We might as well change the name of this feature to “Character Actor Birthday of the Day”, because once again I’ve chosen an awesome “That Guy” as our celebrity birthday boy. Peter Stormare started his career performing in his homeland of Sweden for over a decade before he took a directing position with the Tokyo Globe Theatre, and then later moved to New York to work on stage productions there. He made the transition to film and television, and over the course of his career has performed in over a hundred films and TV shows, including Fargo, The Lost World, The Big Lebowski, Seinfeld, Armageddon, 8mm, Dancer in the Dark, Chocolat, Minority Report, Prison Break, and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Clearly this man is the stuff of legend. Stormare turns 58 today.
