Coffee Jerks

Shaun Clayton put together this funny-but-not-funny supercut of men behaving like assholes in old coffee commercials. It comforts me to know that this sort of advertising is no longer popular and hopefully never will be again, but I can’t help but wonder…if the women in these ads made terrible coffee, why didn’t, I dunno, THE MEN just make their own? I know, I know, sexism was a bit more rampant in years gone by, but did it ever really get to the point where men would choke down disgusting coffee just because they were too stubborn and nasty to make their own? That’s not only sexist, it’s just plain stupid.
