It’s Eugene Hutz’s birthday! Break out the gypsy punk and the cheap booze! Hutz is a Ukranian singer for the wicked-awesome band Gogol Bordello – and you can bet that I’ll be posting some of their music today – and has also acted in a couple of movies, namely the amazing Everything is Illuminated and the Madonna-directed Filth and Wisdom. Hutz (real name Yevheniy Aleksandrovich Nikolayev-Simonov) also sports the greatest moustache in the history of humanity. Oh, and my girlfriend has a big crush on him – frankly, I can’t blame her. Hutz turns 39 today.
