Our Star Wars-themed “Before They Were Stars” continues, as after profiling the early appearances of Keira Knightey and Dominic West in The Phantom Menace, we now move on to Attack of the Clones. Since Attack of the Clones was filmed in Australia, a lot of local talent was cast in the supporting roles. This gave a young up-and-coming Australian actress named Rose Byrne the chance to appear in her first Hollywood film, playing the role of Dorme, Queen Padme Amidala’s handmaiden. Man, for all the flack that Padme gets from Star Wars fans, it seems that getting to appear in a scene with her was major good luck for aspiring actors!
