I’ve written before about Knuckle, the documentary shot over a twelve-year period that chronicles the feuds between warring families of European travellers – feuds settled in bloody bareknuckle boxing matches! This looks just so insane, so unreal, so way-out-there, that I’d like to submit my ballot for the Academy Award for “Best Documentary (Feature)” a few months early. I cannot wait to see this movie, because from where I sit, this is going to be a weird, violent and altogether over-the-top film.
Knuckle comes out in limited release December 2, 2011.
