Liev Schreiber is an actor whom I know I can always count on to deliver a good performance. The son of stage actor/director Tell Schreiber, Liev performed in numerous stage productions and a few independent films before his big break as Cotton Weary in the Scream trilogy. After that, Schreiber soon became a go-to actor in many mainstream movies, including Sphere, A Walk on the Moon, The Hurricane, Hamlet, Kate & Leopold, The Sum of All Fears, Salt and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He also had a memorable stint on CSI in 2007, and although he has only directed one film to date, that film was Everything Is Illuminated – one of my favourite movies, which I gush about non-stop. Schreiber turns 44 today.
