Making Friends

Is it weird that I find this adorable? Michael Dougherty, director of the awesome horror anthology Trick ‘r Treat, made this little short as a promotion for Fearnet’s Trick ‘r Treat marathon, and I think it’s terrific. Dougherty really understands the morbid-yet-fun spirit of Halloween (Aandy-corn powered Frankenstein monster? Amazing.), and if it were up to me, he’d be given carte blanche to make a new Halloween-themed anthology film every year! Watch for a cameo in this from the evil little Halloween demon Samhain, too.
