Bob Kane created Batman in the late 1930’s and worked in the comic book industry for almost thirty years before retiring. To this day, Batman still holds up as Kane’s greatest creation, and it’s easy to see why: Batman’s basically the greatest DC hero ever concieved. Kane died in 1998 at the age of 83, but his legacy lives on to this day.
