In my opinion, Sam Rockwell is the king of cool. Not only can he act circles around most Hollywood stars, but he can cut a rug dancing, too! Want more proof of his awesomeness? Check out some of the movies he’s been in: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Choke, Moon, The Green Mile, Iron Man 2, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Galaxy Quest, Frost/Nixon, Matchstick Men, and Cowboys & Aliens! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg; Rockwell’s resume reads like an aspiring actor’s wish list. Since both of his parents were actors, Rockwell has been acting since a very young age. His first film role was in an atrocious movie called Clownhouse in 1989, and his star has been rising ever since. I think it was his role in Charlie’s Angels that really made him familiar to mainstream audiences, and even though that movie is ridiculous, Sam is still just as cool as ever in it. He turns 43 today, and if I’m as hip as this guy when I’m in my 40’s I’ll be a happy, happy dude.
