Celebrity Birthday of the Day – November 11

Vincent Schiavelli was truly one of the greatest character actors of all time. Well, in my opinon, anyway. The man worked incredibly hard, having completed 155 titles by the time he died, had a distinct and unforgettable appearance, and on top of all that, he was a really talented actor! Schiavelli started his career as a stage actor in the 1960’s, and his first film role was in the Milos Foreman movie Taking Off. Four years later he played a prominent role in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, and soon he was acting in all kinds of awesome, now-classic movies and TV series, including Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, Amadeus, MacGyver, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Ghost, Tales From the Crypt, Batman Returns, The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and more! Schiavelli died in 2005 of lung cancer, and the world lost one of the great “That Guy”s when he did.
