Daniel Bernard “D.B.” Sweeney is an actor who I feel has never had a role that truly defined his career. But then, maybe that’s the way he likes it, because the bulk of his acting resume is guest appearances on TV shows like House, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Criminal Minds, Tales From the Crypt, Harsh Realm, The Outer Limits, and 24. He’s been in very few movies – some of the more famous ones include Spawn and Fire In The Sky, as well as his voice work in the CGI movie Dinosaur. He’s always solid, no matter what he’s appearing in, but he rarely has long-lasting roles, starring roles, or roles in film, and there’s something to be said for that. He turns 50 this year.
