Celebrity Birthday of the Day – November 15

When it comes to playing weasel-y supporting characters, nobody (with the possible exception of Steve Buscemi) does it like Kevin J. O’Connor! O’Connor initially wanted to become a cartoonist, but eventually decided to move into acting instead. He trained in Chicago, and his first role was in the Francis Ford Coppola film Peggy Sue Got Married. Since then, he has gone on to be a successful and entertaining character actor, probably best known for his roles in Stephen Sommers films such as Deep Rising, The Mummy, Van Helsing and G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. He has also appeared in the films Steel Magnolias, Canadian Bacon, Gods and Monsters (alongside his Mummy co-star Brendan Fraser), and There Will Be Blood. O’Connor turns 48 today.
