Doug Walker, also known as the Nostalgia Critic and That Guy With The Glasses, shot to fame after winning an iRiff contest (which Robin and I took part in – and now look how famous we are!) and recording a Rifftrack for Batman Forever under the guidance of Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett. Doug also began making satirical reviews of crummy movies and posting them on Youtube, but after the videos started getting pulled, Doug created his own website ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com with webmaster Mike Michaud (wow, we have a Webmaster Mike, too! So many parallels!). Now Doug is constantly making videos, including his series 5 Second Movies, Ask That Guy With The Glasses, The Nostalgia Critic, and Bum Reviews. He’s done a crossover with The Angry Video Game Nerd, interviewed basically everybody involved in the creation of The Animaniacs and Freakazoid!, and is an inspiration to nerdy website writers and lovers of popular culture everywhere.
