It’s another “That Guy” Celebrity Birthday! Today is the birthday of Mark Margolis – a truly awesome character actor who has appeared in many, many roles, but whose name I didn’t know until I started researching him to write this bio! Margolis got his start in the Portuguese porno-comedy The Opening of Misty Beethoven, but soon moved into more respectable fare including small roles in popular television series like Columbo, Quantum Leap, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and, more recently, Oz and Breaking Bad. Margolis started appearing in movies as well, and over the years his roles have grown to quite respectable sizes. He can be seen in films such as Scarface, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Black Swan (can you tell Darren Aronofsky likes this guy?), Hannibal, Daredevil, Gone Baby Gone, Immortals and many more! Margolis turns 72 today.
