Before They Were Stars (2-for-1 Special): Elisha Cuthbert and Jay Baruchel on “Popular Mechanics for Kids”

Popular Mechanics for Kids was a fairly popular educational children’s show that ran on Canadian TV from 1997 until 2001, and wound wind up jumpstarting the careers of two of its teenage hosts, Elisha Cuthbert and Jay Baruchel, who both went go on to have very successful careers in Hollywood. Since this particular host segment features the two of them visiting the World Trade Center, it’s kind of eerie to watch these days… especially since it features an insert of a building being demolished!
