Back when we did our Shouts From the Back Row podcast on Star Trek, I followed it up with a ton of Trek-related “Before They Were Stars” features. Well, TK was kind enough to send a few more my way, one of which includes a very early role for Famke Janssen on the “Perfect Mate” episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, an opportunity to see the future Jean Grey and Charles Xavier team up. In fact, you could actually consider Janssen’s character here to be a mutant as she has been specifically engineered to perceive the desires of men and adapt her persona to become the perfect mate. Now, is it just me or is Riker implying that he’s about to go jerk off at the end of this clip?
