Hey look, it’s Dwight Schrute’s birthday! Rainn Wilson was born in Seattle to a yoga teacher and a science fiction novelist, and studied theatre at Tufts University and the University of Washington. Wilson got his start in film and television in the 1997 on One Life to Live, and followed it up with small roles in films like Almost Famous, Full Frontal, Galaxiy Quest, House of 1000 Corpses, and Sahara. His breakout role came in 2005 when he played a reoccuring role on Six Feet Under, which he followed up with a major role in The Last Mimzy and a memorable turn in the beginning of Juno. Since then, Wilson’s roles have becoming more prominent, with appearances in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, SUPER, The Rocker, Hesher, and, of course, The Office. Rainn Wilson turns 46 today.
