The Emmy-winning special effects team at Brainstorm Digital have put together a sizzle reel of their work on season two of Boardwalk Empire! Man, this is just mind-blowing stuff, and the brilliance of it all is that most of the intricate period details are placed in the background, behind the stuff that’s the focus of the story, so that they just slip in unnoticed by the viewer, making the world of Atlantic City in the 1920’s feel so very, very real. As TK says at the end of every season: “I can’t believe I have to wait another damn year for more Boardwalk.”
