Before They Were Stars: 6-Year Old Hayden Panettiere on “Aliens in the Family”

Awhile back, I did a “Before They Were Stars” feature on Aaron Eckhart, who had a one-line bit part on Aliens in the Family, an infamous short-lived sitcom from ABC’s TGIF lineup. Well, it turns out that six-year old Hayden Panettierre made a guest appearance on an episode of this show as well! Like I mentioned in my previous feature, Aliens in the Family had a lifespan of only eight episodes, and while this formula might have worked once with ALF, sitcoms about humans interacting with alien puppets to the tuned of canned laughter does not translate to success! However, it is worth noting that ABC decided to pass on 3rd Rock on the Sun to air this show instead!
