The title-confused movie known sometimes as Lockout, sometimes as Escape From M.S. One, and sometimes as M.S. One – Maximum Security, still has me excited in spite of its naming problems, and what gets me so excited for it is the fact that it’s basically Escape From New York in space. I mean, it’s really Escape From New York in space. There are no indications that it will be anything but Escape From New York in space, and since I love Escape From New York but would loathe any attempt at remaking it that might occur just on principle, Lockout seems perfectly suited to my tastes. Fingers crossed that this kicks ass.
Lockout, or whatever it’s called, comes out April 20, 2012.
