The Disney History Institute scores big again with a vintage color film from 1957 Disneyland. DHI uses the same transfer process that Ken Burns does to get his amazing footage and the result is something with the truest and brightest colors I’ve ever seen from Disneyland’s early days.
The Disney History Institute just released this wicked video onto Youtube that gives us a glimpse into the days of yore at the world’s most famous amusement park. It’s pretty incredible to see how much has changed since those bygone Disney days. It’s nice to see classics like Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride are still operational today.
