The Death and Return of Superman

It’s Drunk History meets the Man of Steel in this lengthy rant/comic book lesson on the death of Superman at the hands of Doomsday and his messianic return to life later on! As someone who was alive and a comic book fan during the whole Death of Superman saga, I’ve gotta say, this is bang on the money. The video was created by Chronicle writer and son of John Landis: Max Landis, a man who clearly knows his stuff when it comes to superheroes. The short also features some pretty impressive cameos, including appearances from Elijah Wood and Simon Pegg! It also includes some trademark John Landis wisdom, too, which is priceless advice for all aspiring filmmakers and writers: you can kill a vampire any damn way you want, because they don’t fucking exist. I’ll drink to that.
