Before They Were Stars: Peter Dinklage as a Phone Voice on “Seinfeld”

One of the storylines in the Seinfeld episode, “The Wink”, features Elaine getting romantically involved with her wake-up call guy, who turns out to be far less appealing than he sounds on the phone. Well, the voice on the phone in this opening scene does not actually belong to the actor who played the wake-up call guy, but an unknown Peter Dinklage, who was hired to do an uncredited dub! Now that I think about it, it would been a much cooler storyline idea if Elaine had agreed to date her wake-up guy, only to discover that he was a dwarf!
