How’d He Do That?

We’ve already seen Red Letter Media rip Star Wars: The Phantom Menace a new one in a review that was almost as long as the movie itself, and while Harry Plinkett’s review was a thorough and thought-provoking criticism of George Lucas’ massive prequel turd, it did little to suggest how the movie might be improved. Enter Belated Media and this recent, twelve-minute video that…I can’t believe I’m saying this…fixes The Phantom Menace. That’s right, this dude actually spells out exactly how The Phantom Menace could have been turned into something incredible, and guess what? The changes aren’t even that drastic! Of course, getting rid of Jar Jar is one of the first changes, and I suspect that’s where George Lucas turned off the video. This actually makes me kinda sad, because it shows just how much better The Phantom Menace could have been.
