The Fades is the best new show that you’ve never heard of! A coming-of-age fantasy/horror series from writer Jack Thorne, The Fades focuses on a nerdy teenager named Paul who finds himself thrust into the middle of a war between the human resistance called the Angelics and an army of zombies and ghosts called the Fades who are bent on returning to life by any means necessary. The show features a great mix of supernatural awesomeness and also well-written nerdity, and I’ve gotta say that fans of shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer will totally adore The Fades. Seriously, check out the first season, because it’s terrific stuff, and I’m already hooked and anticipating more.
