The hit-and-miss marketing of John Carter proved to be a complete disaster during the film’s opening weekend, as it failed to top the box office, coming in second to The Lorax in its second week. It’s a damn shame, too, because John Carter is actually a pretty cool piece of sci-fi action, and *gasp* it’s not overly predictable! It’s not often that I say that about a story that’s a century old! Anyway, watch this featurette and behold how carefully designed even the music was for this movie, then go out and see it, because I guarantee that once the credits roll, you’ll want to see a sequel.
