Watch Out For The Movie Phone Police

I know this ad for Orange mobile phones is supposed to be funny and all, but it actually makes me feel pretty sad about the state of security these days. I mean, obviously this is a very over-the-top depiction of TSA-like screening, but I feel like it’s maybe not as far off as we think. With the debate waging on about peoples’ rights to use their cellphones in movie theatres (seriously, folks, just turn off your phones), I could easily see something like this waiting for us at the cineplex in a few years’ time. Okay, maybe I’m being dramatic. This is pretty funny – especially the bit with the tub of popcorn.
