Welcome to the Basement: In the Mood For Love

The second episode of Blame Society’s series Welcome to the Basement focuses on Wong Kar Wai’s 2000 romantic drama In the Mood For Love, and y’know, Matt and Craig totally nail it in their review of the film. I watched this movie in film class, and much like Matt and Craig, I appreciated the mood of it, but overall didn’t find it as compelling as some have made it out to be. In my opinion, you should save yourself the trouble of watching In the Mood For Love and just watch this instead. It takes up less time, is way funnier, and personally, I think I got just as much out of it as I did from the movie. I know, I know, I can’t appreciate art. Let the hateful comments fly!
