This 1978 commercial for Body on Tap Shampoo is particularly interesting not just because it features a young Kim Basinger, but because it bills itself as “beer-enriched shampoo”. Miss Basinger even mentions that the shampoo is brewed with one-third real beer and warns the viewer not to drink it. I have no idea how beer is supposed to be good for your hair, but maybe the main reason this product isn’t around any more is because alcoholics WERE drinking it!
