The last thing Simon Van Helsing, the youngest in a long line of monster hunters, wants to do is fall in love with Dracula’s daughter, Mavis. Upon discovering that they are natural enemies, the doomed couple attempt to bring peace between the warring monsters and humans.
As a die-hard Genndy Tartakovsky fan (seriously guys: Samurai Jack, Sym-Bionic Titan, and the Clone Wars 2D microseries are all amazing), it should go without saying that I’m squeeing at delight at this next film of his. Yes, even though Adam Sandler is voicing Dracula, I’m just so darn enthused about this movie that I don’t even care. It actually looks like an expanded version on a classic Looney Tunes bit:
