It’s been a pretty long time since I was legitimately excited for a movie musical, but I’m finding myself looking forward to Rock of Ages more and more. Of course, it may be the music I’m looking forward to more than the film, because most of the songs in this new trailer are on a number of my playlists. Also – and here’s another thing I don’t say often – I’m looking forward to seeing what Tom Cruise brings to the table with this one as the icon of pop rock: Stacee Jaxx. He’s got a baboon! I wonder if that’s actually Tom’s voice doing the singing.
