I dunno about you guys, but when I watch this new clip from The Amazing Spider-Man, I don’t really see a superhero. I see a jerk. Now, teenage jerk superheroes can make for interesting subject matter, like they did in Chronicle, but I guess I feel like that’s not who Spider-Man was. He was always about great power and great responsibility. Not about throwing web-balls at some dude pleading for help and completely at his mercy. But…I suppose it is a bit funny.
