Alright, who slipped the hallucinogenic drugs in my coffee? This bizarre trailer for Simon Pegg’s new film A Fantastic Fear of Everything is so very, very surreal that I have no idea what to make of it. I like Pegg, and the premise of a paranoid children’s author being haunted by a hedgehog smoking a pipe is…unique. But is this supposed to be a comedy? I can’t say as a laughed so much as stared in fascination. But then, perhaps that’s what the filmmakers were going for.
A Fantastic Fear of Everything doesn’t have a North American release date, but it’ll be tripping audiences out in the UK and Ireland starting June 8, 2012.
